Marie Anderson, Conductor

Marie Anderson is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, with an Honours Bachelor of Music degree. As well as conducting Oriana Singers, Marie is co-founder and co-director of La Jeunesse, a choral program which at present trains approximately one hundred youth in our community. Under her direction, La Jeunesse has competed internationally three times within the past seven years, and in each competition has returned with a gold medal.

In summer 2001 Marie directed the Ontario Teen Choir, sponsored by Choirs Ontario. She is director of the Youth Music Program for Trinity United Church in Cobourg and has a small vocal studio.
